AdeptiCon Day 1

         We left last night and got to Cleveland. Then it was a short drive in this morning. We were on station by 12:30. A total of 11.5 hours with one stop for gas and one for food. Another Dew fueled haul. 

        We screwed around look for a replacement for dog's favorite ball. Then helped load the swag bags. There was a butt ton. If you got the VIG badge, you walked away with 400 easy in goods.

        400 VIG bags. 1600 regular bags. Some of the regular bags got shorted on goodies. The one I got was full.

            We loaded bags from 2 to 5. It earned us about 100 buck in free stuff each. No food tickets this year. Nor a discount for next year. We were able to jump the line and get my badge right away.

            The line for badges was out into the hotel again. At least a football field  and a half long.

            After that the girl got her first game out of the house. First game against IG. Matt was nice enough to put up with training the kid to play. When I play against her, her dice are like Dave's. Today they took a shit. Almost as bad as mine. 

            Matt shot down her Thawk one its way in. And forced her to turn 4. We called the game as it was 12 our time and VV was smoked. Matt played an excellent turn 3.

            This year's rules were broken again. I am getting good at breaking them. The dudes that bring all the used GW stuff had a lizardman army. It is missing the command section. I got it sort of painted for 200. I will add the extra command section I have at home and ebay it next week.

            Lastly there was smell ya later. GW's Horus Heresy marketing shit show. If ya have not seen a shower or washed your ass in the last year, you were here. WTF? grown dam men that smelled worse than a Somalian fresh out of Africa.
