2022 Yearly Goals and Plans

 

             This year's plan will not exactly the same as last year. Or the year before. This year I am going to actually finish what was started last year. 

            I want to do AdeptiCon, Little Wars, HistoriCon, NEAT, and Fall In. GMing games at HMGS' cons.

Year's Goals

Paint, Sell, and stop buying collections or armies.

        **** No buying terrain. 
        **** No buy armies or collections.
        **** Sell off the dust collecting items

        **** Develop new players

        **** TO and GM games at Cons 

Year's Plans

Blood and Plunder

        Everything is purchased, minis and terrain. There are current 8 minis in the works. All only a day's or so work away. There terrain is in various states. I will be traveling with these and hopefully finishing everything in the first 6 months of the year.

            1st will be a female dominated group. Then a traditional group. Once over 50% of the way in, I will start to teach VV. Once one group is done. There is a local group of players.

RF&F

            The Cavalry has to get done. 90% of the Union is complete. I have the first 30 CSA guys half way blocked in. Their horses are finished and waiting.

               At Little Wars I will run Stones River again, and another scenario.

               I think I will try to run Culpeper Courthouse at the LBHA convention. This will need more Cavalry done.

By Fire and Sword

            There are units in the works from a painted collection I purchased. Then there are a mountain of bare metal in the boxes from a larger collection purchased. I thought I had a painter lined up. He dropped out at the start date. Lucky nothing was sent to him. Now I will have to do it. I guess the start date will be summer, late summer, and then continue until finished.

                I will not be moving on to 2nd edition. The changes being made are for the most part crap. The only thing I like is the new activation system. I would like to bring only that into 1st ED. Which all depends on how they handle activation supremacy.

Muskets and Tomahawks

            If by chance I finish stuff, this is next. I have been enjoying painting 28mm again. So hopefully that can continue into M&T. 

            I will not be moving on to 2nd Edition. Don't care.

Warmaster Ancients

            Maybe some dudes will get painted on the road.

Epic

            The sallies will get finished. Some how?

Year's Plans

                This did not happen. I bought a shit ton of rail fence, hills, desert stuff, and trees.

                This did not happen either. I bought up two By Fire and Sword lots.

                This did not happen. Once ebay dumped Paypal. I stopped ebaying.

        **** Develop new players

                We did find some new players and lost contact with existing players.

        **** TO and GM games at Cons

                I ran games at Little Wars and TO at Cold Wars. And there was the pig roast tourney at the house.

            As I breakdown the details. Very few were completed at all. The same old, same old held true. As everything was half assed. With the way the year went with work and the CCP virus, it wasn't so bad.

         The plan is to get armies on the table, and continue to host some historical battles. Battles were hosted.

        The Lizard army was bought and completed.

Regimental Fire & Fury   15mm ACW

        This will be the year's primary project. I hosted and ran both the Wheatfield and the Stones River scenarios.

         Everything is done but the Cavalry and the command stand flags.

20mm Moderns
        Multiple games were hosted. Even the Zombies got out.

20mm Colonial Sudan

        This project got shelved last year. It may get little attention this year also. ZERO love

            I am going to run RF&F Stones River and one other. I need to sort the second one. Then on Saturday I will TO the Epic tourney.

Cold Wars has been canceled

         The board took a beatin about Ocean City. Mutiny was on hand. The CCP virus and conditions allowed for the contract with Ocean City to be cancel for 2022 and 2023. No new location has been set. Cold Wars 2022 is not going to happen.
