Same source for the trees, same technique. This time I went with a lighter pink. One more set I think should do it. But a med shade of pink. Of course there will be other trees mixed in, the green kind. No Bonsai or garden art trees. Just regular old china cheapies.
They will be mixed and matched thru out the terrain for special buildings. The castle, castle walls/garden, temple complex, and temple tower. The only question is to do the table with Geo-Hex or Sarissa tiles.
I like the Sarissa idea a little more. This period in Japan did not see the deforesting and terraforming. The flat Sarissa with hills, rivers, rice paddies, villages, and maybe terraced rice paddies would be easy. The castle would be the hardest, and last thing done.
