Same island, all the way to the east side. This is one of the best to visit, as most of the surrounding building are still present. And you will have to eat fish cooked over straw. We got there just before the castle closed. The castle was left for the morning. We explored the grounds, free part.
In Kochi there are many other original structure besides the castle to see. I would have liked to spend two full days there. And I would go back!
