Muskets and Tomahawks Palisade Wall

This is an original Old Glory 15mm fort. I cannot say how or when I got it. Nor what I had originally planned to do with it. I have had it while in NY. It has been part of the shame for well over 12 years.

During the move from storage to my current home it got broke. I remember dad's face when he dropped the box and you could heard everything smash. It sound like china breaking. He had no idea what was in the box. Just that whatever it was, was no more.

The larger pieces took the most damage. It broke this way because of the resin used. It is that old school 80s type resin. Most breaks occurred where bubbles were or were the resin did not get pushed fully into the mold.

The building and block houses I don't think I will ever use. Those I will sell off. The walls which broke and were put back together, with missing pieces, I can use. They are tall enough for service in M&T and Blood and Plunder.

I started with Otter Brown primer. A heavy dry brush of human fresh, junk freebe paint, with a wash of chocolate brown. Perfect look like wood, fresh cut. Palisade walls are grey and look old by the time they get completed.

Walls more grey. Not as grey as Jamestown. As those are probable 40 pus years old. They were there when I was there.
            And flocked.
