Force on Force "terrain"

            Sometimes the easiest way to get restarted is via terrain, for me at least. The minis, there is a pressure not get them right. The terrain I don't care so much about. I want it. I want it to look good, but it does not need to be perfect. The minis need to be better than good through my eyes.

          Most everything is eBay specials. All 20mm. The tower is printed from a friend. I bought the stls long ago. 

        More HESCOs and the cars I found at a truck stop for a buck each. One cannot have a street with no cars.

Pirate Women

         What can I say? I should have known 2 pages in. Laura is a self described feminist. You get ten pages of how women are marginalized throughout history. How their stories are untold. No one will argue that! 

        And within these first ten pages she discredit herself as a historian. Laura rambles on and on about the lives of well known females from ancient history to modern times, who we know little to nothing about. This cannot be excused. To demonize the ancient writers for their lack of inclusion of the female story show a gross concept error in fundamental historiography. The people who lived, those that recorded what we have today, during time of these famous historical females did not view life as we do. They lived, their beliefs, and understanding would be a fantasy novel to us today. 

        This shit shows continues as she does the same thing these ancient authors did. Laura fills page after page of near non relevant back story. She never had enough material to consider a book on the subject. The back story or stage set by historicals males. The chapters contain little to nothing about the females she is writing about. 6 pages into the chapter and you have no idea who is the person of interest. Your not even close to getting to their story. Which is understandable as there is little to nothing known about them. But to fill a 180 pages to get your book printed is a fuckin disgrace! 

        This should have been a research article or magazine article no more.

    I didn't back it because I was reading the book. It is great for B&P. Just tons of good terrain within. The minis some good some not so good.

        Now remember I no long have a filament printer. Now I got to get one, SOB!

        I have been sick for weeks. Its not COVID, 5 out of 6 tests neg. The 1st one saying positive. Two days later the next neg. Negative for the flu, lungs are clear. I can't sleep. I spit out brown worm shit and cough all the time. I have taken everything from CVS, everything. Doctors are proving useless. 

        Nothing is getting done. I have read Treasure Island, Magnus, and Fighting Mac. Zero painting, zero terrain, zero gaming. I have not even started to look at armies for AdeptiCon.

Little Wars "Pineapple Express" scenario development part II

 

            The first half is done. To ensure I get the buildings back where they go every time, they are numbered. This will speed up set up. The mat will get painted and maybe flocked. That will happen once the weather is warm enough to do it outside. Rattle can is killing me slowly.

            More scatter terrain has been added. All the afghans are done. 50% of the contractors and Veterans are done. I may need more Civilians?

            I learned from Mr Bookwatler that picture of your set up speed up setting it up. This is only the rough layout of the first half of the play area.

        The second area is WIP. The buildings this side are WIP. But once it is sorted, I will run a play test.
