Here I go trying to improve the lifetime of my paint jobs. This is test three. The first one was testor's dull coat, second a clear coat, and this one a poly dip. Now my little girl gets to beat them up for the next three months. They are in her sand box. Time will tell.

World Eaters and old glue

Build continues. The arms are becoming a bitch. That and I had an old bottle of glue. Now that the glue has been sorted. The arms are remaining attached and basing has started.

These are in the final stage. I should be sealing them in the next few days.

World Eaters construction

Attaching arms on 6mm dudes is a total time black hole. I have spent maybe a week, cleaning them, glue one side, then the other. What a pain in the ass! But they are the sweetest eaters you'll ever get your hands on.
Termies, Heavy weapon squads, Rampagers, are on the table and not too far from finished. I only need to FOCUS and maybe stop drinking beer on the back porch.

Remote Air Field part I

I have been or trying to start repairing terrain damaged or falling apart. After AdeptiCon and during, I noticed some of it was beat up and worn. First up is the FW remote air station.

The old one was laid down on 2mm plastic card. Over time the flocking started to crack. The 2mm card was way too flexible. Gone is the plastic card, the irregular shape, and most the flock. I did save some pieces for, well let us be honest. Who the hell knows what I saved it for.

Regrassed and forest clutter down. Next the trees, guns, details, and sealing.

Some of the A.D.D. Repairs to the chipped paint. I don't like how the spike thingys turned out. What to do, what to do?

A.D.D. is in full effect.

A.D.D. plus it is wicked nice outside. I can not get my butt on the paint stool, nor can I stay focused for very long. Just a bunch of half assed efforts. But when the focus returns, I will be banging stuff out like a 240 spitting lead.

World Eaters detachment II part two

The last 4 bases of Infantry for the second detachment. These guy have red bolters. I did it to be able to tell them apart from the first detachment. I can not say I love it. Maybe they should go back to blue. Then save the red for the chain axes.
