Epic Traitor guard part VIII

 

        More Armor. Easiest way to change the way IG plays or the lists you can use. IG that walks, that rides, rides large, rides deep, artillery shielded walkers, air assault, MTB heavy and on and on.

        I got all these from Jack the Marine. He sells collections for people that can't be bothered. In doing so he collects a %. I did not take everything from the lot he had. I made an offer on all the FW stuff and pieces I didn't have. 

        All where cleaned and primed at home. Everything was painted on the road. The stickers, flock, and sealing was done at home. The last steps took me forever. I thought I would be done in 2 days. Life got in the way starting with the frig light going out and ending with 5k worth of bedroom furniture. And all I wanted to do was finish some dudes.

            This was round one. Round two is chambered.

The Road Heavy Rotation part V

 

        3 weeks ago was the SpringHill. No extra points. No double points. The Courtyard became a shit show of scream people. The Springhill is dam near 100 more a night. The price increase paid off. No people yelling in the halls. 

        I got nothing done. Only a few mini base layer for skin. Every tool went down. I had a NUB and customer training all week.

        Only home for <48hrs and off again. I had to quickly change my kit to fly. Ensure I have everything and enough to keep me busy.

        This week I am back in Cali. I am not flying early morning and I am going out of MDT. Its an hour closer, 1st class was 500 cheaper, but it is and extra leg and thru SLC.

        San Tomas Holiday Inn. Same one as always, 5k a night plus double points.

            One would have thought a lot would have gotten done. I am disappointed with my efforts for 3 weeks.

And I bought another collection again

 

Its very fitting

        This time it is all for me. And I did not buy the whole thing. My old room mate from Boston assists people in selling their minis, their shame. He came into a massive pile of Epic. He asked if I would help him price it out and share those I sell to. Of course. Then I cherry picked all the IG Armor. 95 tanks total, 53 tanks of it FW, and I am keeping 48. There were some I never meant to get or wanted. So those few will get sold. The other are for a mate.

Chaos Collection total 646.75

            Sale of the Chaos collection continues. In June I sat at 540. After the Eldar got taken down, chaos started to sell again. 8 detachments and a primarch for 106.75. 

            Then a mate was interested in items. I pulled them and sent them for free. My money was back in my pocket. Better yet the minis stay in the group.

        A few doll house, D&D, pieces for my little dolls, Minis, in their doll houses, terrain. It all D&D stuff I got at Little Wars. They were the same price as stls for the same stuff. I wanted the tables and benches out of the set. The rest I could careless about. The scenarios in 1666 have items in the rooms. I want to do 3D soooooo

Terrain Boards, Cons and the Future part XIX

 

            The tile that matches up to the Church section has all the roads down. A "Matte Vintage Grey" rattle can was used as primer. The blue tape is covering the building numbers. Just like your house every building has a number. It is important for a fast set up and each building is slotted for that spot exactly.

            On the old board, the roads just ended in rubble. I used a poly glue sand mix back then. This time it was beach sand from the islands and white glue. At some point the whole board will get 2 coats of poly. Poly makes them almost un-chippable.

            Last week's road casting washed

            Both full low land tiles are now done and primed.

            The 1st tile with the city wall is done and primed.

        I had only 100ml of resin left. You get more than you think!

            One of the original tiles scraped clean of roads. This one never lined up to any of the other 3.
