The Officers had more uniform personalizations than that our our own generals in the Civil War. I guess they did whatever they wanted to some long as it was some what close to regulation. If they were a regulation or a body to enforce the uniform of the day.
Which of course one must forgive them as the Sudan is the hottest place I have ever been!
The Egyptian infantry is most memorable in the all white with dark blue-ish socks. The majority of my dudes will represent that. One will notice that the flocking has come out a different color. All were done at the same time, with the same shit, and same everything. Can't figure out what caused the reaction.
