Back out on the Road PART II

 

        Back out on a general baby sitting job. They know what they have to do. They just don't. Either way I hoped to get something done sitting around. That never happened. These guys loving meetings. That could be why nothing is being done.

        Courtyard this time. The lighting here sucks. I was moving their lamps around. The Courtyard is giving 2k a night and double points on top of that. This trip will get me the rest of the points for Little Wars to be free. I will stay on site this year.

        I took more than the Traitor Guard. I did forget my glasses. So no painting of 28s. The endless meetings drained all life from me. All I got done was blocking in colors.

    

        These weeks I was out in Cali. Holiday Inn with a plus 5k a night points, double points and x10 cause it was on the IHG card. This one had a great desk lamp.

        The Traitor guard infantry were finished. I blocked in all the pirates I took with me.

Regimental Fire and Fury Cold Wars and Little Wars

 

            It is a little early to be packing up for the Cons. I think I will be on the road. Then there will be too little time. I want to re-felt my war game table tomorrow also!

            The same Scenario will be played at both Cold Wars and Little Wars. I am running it once at Cold Wars. Then again 2 or 3 times at Little Wars. The Last time I ran RF&F I screwed up the count. I was short minis. This time everything has been laid out and stickered.

            The terrain was also laid out and the mat flattened.

UPDATE

        They are Janissaries in the game. This is a lot for a regular sized 2 or 4 player event. I wanted at least 2 full squads/platoons to Double for Blood and Plunder. The Red Corsairs had Janissaries on board as a mandate. The Muhgals had them onboard in 1695.

        I cannot believe the guy sold them for what he did. As a painted army, these minis are above table top standard. Its a great job. I only rebased and picked out some metal bits. I would have paid double just for the lot I am going to use. The rest, which is 3 times what I have here are up for sale.

        Battle for Stone River is scheduled for both Cold Wars and Little Wars. The terrain has been check and packed. The armies are label and packed.

        This goal was completed last month. All the Africans are done. I have a full African, Afghan, and Arab armies.

        2 down 4 to go! The IFs are kitted and ready for Cold Wars. I have sold off enough of the Chaos collection to break even and took what I wanted. There is more still to go, but now its gravy.

        1.) Kit out the Imperial Fists for Cold Wars. Then add on 30K detachments

    

        3) Cherry pick traitor guard and sell of the remaining Chaos.

And the printer was sold off!

Anno Domini 1666 "Baska and Ketling"

        These 2 were chosen as next for the dude. He has the look of an Englishmen. I wanted to see how EIC, East India Company, company man mite look. In the "Bearskins" the EIC men have an extra dark pilgrim look about them. 

        Pirate action in the Indian Ocean would have involved EIC interest and ships/shipping. This dude looks like the North American operative. Would those stationed in the India theater have that look about them or would they go native?
