Black Scorpion stuff

No more resin poured/casted dudes. These guys are printed now. Which aligns with the stls they sell before the minis are available. BS says they scan the original sculps.
Pirates

Musketeers

Aztec priest

Colonial dude and Navy Captain

These dudes and cost were already counted. No tariffs.

20mm stuff and a Pirate dude

Table clearing and repairs. I had a bunch of plasticville buildings that needed squaring and repairs. They are older than me. They were my father's when he was a boy. I have been playing with them since my plastic green dime store army men days.

The pirate building came as part of a collection Chicago Matt grabbed for me. I final repainted it. The Up-armored SUV is resin from SAS.

This is a Black Scorpion dude on a 3D base. He was painted with the spanish pirates I sold last week.

A Damaged Pirate army part III

The infantry were initially painted for Spanish. The coats being the largest surface area, I kept them Spanish. I did have to look up the uniform.

I went with number 30. 30 is more and completely different in color palette. Other than the pocket flips the dude below fits the bill. With the jackets glazed, I went with Foundry Red Coat for the red. The blue for the jacket is the only original paint.

A long way to get them close to the art example. The skin is Foundry South American, African and white dude. I am using Raw Hide for the boots, hat, and belts.

I finished them on the last road trip. Now they are up for sale. First to the EpicTimes group followed by the B&P group.

Traveling and painting in 2026 part II

Another great start. 2 calls of can you leave now. The customer is down hard. 1st one tried to run the system on 40 amp fuses for a tool that pulls 60amps. 2nd decided not to do maintenance for 2 years, thats 300k in parts before it ever runs again. Both times I ran out the door with no minis.

I read this one waiting in the airports.

Crowne Plaza double points, bonus. No painting. Finished this book.

        I had these printed.

Fuck all is getting done this year so far. I spent the 1st month out of the country. The last two weeks of the second month I am at sea. A side by side, Destiny to the Dream.
I have 28mm pirates, African/Islanders, with me. 20mm Cartel for a very Central American experience. Back to slavery. In the Crowne Plaza for double points and 5k a night.

Another Crown Plaza, double points only. Same terrible lamp. This week I have the Force on Force rule book and the Haywire rule book with me. In the kit are Pirates and 20mm Cartel.

A Damaged Pirate army

A small Pirate collection....I guess you could make an Army from it. Its playable. Its chipped, half painted, badly painted. Well there are 3 colors, so tabletop quality. I paid 75 with shipping for 37. All B&P minis, both metal and resin and plastics. The value is in the metals. I wanted only the African/Islander/Native types out of it. The rest I will touch up and sell off as a units.

The Bad

The Ugly

The need at least 4 hours of work to bring them up to desirable. With only 3 metals and the rest plastic, a shaded and cleaned up unit of 8 should get me a quick 30.
I have already started. A foundry 66B glaze was splashed all over the coats and pants of the regular infantry dudes. I know I will have to repaint the red and whites. I think I will do the belts white in the end.

The Cherries

I bought them on the road going to the cruise. They were waiting for me at home. I started on the road this week. These 15 is what I wanted. Its a 50/50 mix of the African and Native minis made by B&P.
The goal is to build up a group of Sambu, Zambos, Miskito. The names are all interchangeable, I think or it appears that way. They may have ended up culturally different by the 1800s. In the time of Morgan they were little settlements in the bush of escaped slaves, natives, and spanish/european blood along the misquistoe coast. Some sources say the Miskito were a tribe of natives.
All the skin was repainted with Foundry African skin with a glaze of terracotta "B". I touched up the white, but left it rather dirty looking.
Atlantic sabbot 25mm bases were attached. I do not like the 20mm B&P bases. B&P did 20mm bases so a correct number of individuals would fit on the ships. There is no ship to ship action in my pirate world. It was not that frequent and I have no interest.
AP strong tone dip. The Dip protects against the abuse minis take in Cons and hosted events. Repainting and fixing chips become a full time job after a Con. The Dip prevents all this.
There are 3 not here that need to be completely repainted.

In keeping with the idea of tracking spending.

440 3D prints + 100 paint + 175 buildings + 60 Epic Forumware, 2 books printed, 37 Pirates at $915
