AdeptiCon 2015 Day One

Long drive. The convention center is nice. They have heat at least. The bar tender up stairs is very generous with his pours. The vendor hall is a lot smaller than I would have thought. FW and the BL are a combined deal. Does not look like what they would bring to a Games Day event. Much smaller.      

No Gamescraft, No chapter house, No 3rd party producers. It is a butt sharking event. 

Nothing but pictures. I only played one game, GW's Western/Cowboy game.

          Just like any kid with a project due. I wait to the final moments to finish up. I was so close to having to paint in the hotel room.

     Nothing over the weekend. Late night tonight. Only one more night. I added black and red to each detachment to tie the army together.

     Objective markers and the defense line/bunkers the search continues found.

     Started to add a matte finish to everything for extra protection.

And the terrain is set and packed.

     Building repairs. Still need to be done. Tomorrow night will be another late night.

AdeptiCon 2015 Terrain packing up part 3

        After a weekend to visit family. There are only 3 nights left to pack up. And still so much to do.

     The GW ruins. Better than the card board box they were originally stored in. Only 3 were damaged. The new box is a work in progress. It needs a more secure layered storage. But no time for that business now.

       I bought the lot as is years ago. They are nice and mounted on plywood. But all grey. I need to revisit them one week. Pick out some details. Make them fancy!

      The damaged 3. One bent wall. Two with pieces busted off.

     Bonus. New fancy painting stool. Love it when friends move and don't want shit! Maybe now my ass won't get so sore painting for hours.

AdeptiCon 2015 Terrain packing part 2

Packing up the Forge World buildings. I should have enough pieces to cover 1.5 tables. After this collecting and packing up the forest, rivers, and GW ruins.

 A mixed bag of FW, MDF, and other resin pieces.

 Some custom pieces from the city table, MDF, and a building from Greg's Lab. He has very nice building panels. Now he has roofs available. (didn't exist when I built this one) You can find his excellent line here; Gregster's Lab in 6mm

Also located all the buildings that got chipped in the last traveling road show.

Found the pumping station and pipes for the desert table.
